The presentation, intended for 18–27-year-old foster youth and young adults who have aged out of the system, will focus on skills, opportunities, and the future

United States, 6th Nov 2026 — Gowns and Gardens House of CharitiesTM (GG HouseTM), an organization dedicated to building children, women, and communities through education, enrichment programs, and resources, today announced that it will be presenting the online event Interview, Dining, Event Etiquette & Life Skills on November 18. The event is intended for 18–27-year-old foster youth and young adults who have aged out of the system. It will focus on skills, opportunities, and the future.

GG HouseTM to Present Online Event “Interview, Dining, Event Etiquette & Life Skills” on Nov. 18

“Our goal with this presentation is to help foster youth and those who have aged out learn how to present themselves with confidence, communicate professionally, and make a great first impression,” explained Kenisa Nunley, Founder and President of GG House. “These skills are not innate. They are learned, and kids in the system often miss the opportunity. That’s the challenge we’re trying to address.”

The Interview, Dining, Event Etiquette & Life Skills event is just one of many programs GG House is running. The organization’s Dear Neighbor Campaign, for instance, brings people together to create meaningful opportunities for foster youth and young adults who have aged out through education, mentorship, and personal development.

Nunley added, “As we like to say, it’s hard to create a masterpiece with the wrong tools. Having the right tools and knowledge can make all the difference. We want to expand the foundation and the opportunities for children, emancipated youth, and women—empowering them to thrive in life and become the best version of themselves.”
